What should you expect on the first visit to Lusk Chiropractic Health Center?

The purpose of Chiropractic care is to correct subluxation (nerve interference) caused by misaligned vertebrae in the back and neck.  Nerve messages transfer from your brain through the spinal cord then through the nerves to every area in your body.  A Doctor of Chiropractic is trained specifically to find these misalignments and to correct them.  The doctor uses a very gentle force in a specific and controlled manner to accomplish this.  This is called an adjustment.  As normal alignment is restored, nerves communicate more effectively and healing takes place.  This aids in reducing pain, numbness, or tingling and inflammation.  Chiropractic treats the whole person with the symptoms.
